Buddhism

Buddhism is known to be a non-theistic philosophical and spiritual doctrine. Buddhism was created by Siddharta Gautama between the 6th-4th century BC in India and spread to the East of Asia. A Its main objective is for each person to develop their unlimited potential, valuing their own life and that of others to the maximum. Most Buddhist traditions share the goal of overcoming suffering, the cycle of death and rebirth.
 There are two main branches of Buddhism: 
-Theravāda (School of the Elderly) 
- Mahāyāna (The Great Way).

- Buddhism is the fourth most important religion in the world
- In Buddhism, there is no single holy book. Extensive scriptures have been preserved in many Asian languages.
- Buddhists don’t believe in a supreme being or creator god.
- Buddhism is often considered to be a form of psychology rather than a religion.

- Many traditional Buddhists believe in reincarnation and rebirth.
